Cancellation & Refund Policy

This policy explains how to cancel your DaveSoftBot subscription and your refund rights under applicable laws.
1. Overview
DaveSoftBot subscriptions renew automatically. You may cancel at any time. We comply with Israeli consumer protection law and EU consumer rights, and we respect the laws of your jurisdiction.
2. How to Cancel
You can cancel your subscription through any of the following channels:
- Your admin Profile page (instant cancellation)
- Email: [email protected]
- WhatsApp: message our support bot
Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. Your bot remains active until then.
3. Israeli Consumer Rights
If you are a consumer in Israel, you are protected by the Consumer Protection Law (חוק הגנת הצרכן, התשמ״א-1981):
- 14-day cooling-off period (§14ג): You may cancel within 14 days of purchase for any reason.
- Special populations — 4-month cancellation (§14ג1): Persons aged 65+, persons with disabilities, new immigrants (within 5 years of aliyah), and IDF reservists may cancel within 4 months of purchase.
- Cancellation fee cap: Maximum 5% of the transaction or ₪100, whichever is lower. No fee if the service has not yet been provided.
- Refund timeline: Prorated refund processed within 14 business days to your original payment method.
- Renewal notice: We will send you a written renewal notice 21–60 days before each automatic renewal, as required by Israeli law.
4. EU/EEA Consumer Rights
If you are a consumer in the EU or EEA:
- 14-day withdrawal right (Directive 2011/83/EU): You may withdraw from the contract within 14 days without giving a reason.
- If you requested the service to begin during the withdrawal period and later withdraw, you will pay only for the service received up to the withdrawal date.
5. General Refund Policy
- Cancellations outside of statutory cooling-off periods take effect at the end of the current billing cycle. No partial-month refund is given.
- Annual plan refunds: prorated based on unused full months remaining.
- Free-plan users: no refund applies.
6. Refund Processing
- Refunds are processed via Stripe to the original payment method.
- Processing time: 5–14 business days depending on your bank/card issuer.
- Israeli customers: amounts in NIS are refunded in NIS; amounts in USD remain in USD.
7. Data After Cancellation
After cancellation, your bot is paused and your data is retained for 90 days. During this period you may reactivate your account. After 90 days, all data is permanently deleted. You may request earlier deletion by contacting us.
